15 July 2010, Airmiles has teamed up with Travelex, the leading foreign exchange specialists, to launch the Airmiles Cash Passport™, a new way to collect miles and carry holiday money.

The Cash Passport has proved a phenomenal success with holiday makers worldwide, so it's great to be able to join with Airmiles to offer yet another benefit with this exciting new product.Mark Horgan, MD for Cards and Mobile Payments - Travelex

The only pre-paid card to give Airmiles when it's loaded or reloaded with money, it's available in three currencies so far: Pound Sterling, Euro and US Dollar.

Members get up to 1 mile for every £9, depending on how much is loaded, and it's being launched with a bonus miles offer.

Handy and safe, it can be used anywhere Visa Electron's accepted, from shops and restaurants to cashpoints, with free* overseas withdrawals and the exchange rate locked at the point of loading or reloading the Card.

And the Travelex Airmiles Cash Passport includes benefits like 24/7 global assistance, lost and stolen funds replacement and low balance text alerts.
