Wednesday 12 August 2009, British Airways and American Express have announced a renewal of their strategic partnership.

The new agreement, managed by British Airways' rewards subsidiary, The Mileage Company, includes three consumer co-brand cards, a corporate co-brand card and merchant acceptance agreement.
In addition, the American Express Membership Rewards® agreement, launched in August 2008, is extended into the US for the first time.
