The Mileage Company
The Mileage Company's donating over £40,000 to Rainforest Concern, which will go towards protecting north-west Ecuador's Choco Andean forest corridor, where the charity's been working for over 13 years.
The money was raised thanks to The Mileage Company's Airmiles scheme, with its two eco-initiatives - Our Green Shop and mobile phone recycling. Members collect miles by recycling and shopping for sustainable products.
The Mileage Company's split the profits from these projects equally between Rainforest Concern and its other conservation Partner, the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust.
Rainforest Concern protects threatened natural habitats, the biodiversity they contain and the indigenous people who depend on them for survival.
